Who You'll be Working With

Rodman D. Young, CPA, CFP®

Co-Founder, CEO, Financial Advisor

My passion lies in helping clients make well-informed financial decisions that align with their long-term goals. With extensive experience and knowledge in the financial sector, I am committed to providing clear and strategic pathways to financial success.

In the early stages of my career, I often found myself reacting to situations rather than proactively shaping my professional journey. However, a pivotal moment made me realize the depth of my expertise and the significant impact I could have on my clients' lives.

At KeyVantage Wealth, we adopt a team approach to financial planning. This collaborative effort ensures that our clients receive comprehensive and nuanced advice, enabling them to navigate complex financial landscapes with confidence. My role as a financial advisor is a commitment to leveraging my skills and knowledge to assist clients in making critical financial decisions.

My roots are in Bethlehem, located in the Lehigh Valley, PA, a charming small-city conveniently situated near New York and Philadelphia. The Lehigh Valley is rich in arts, sports, and outdoor activities, contributing to a well-rounded and vibrant community.

I have been fortunate to share my life with my wife for over 40 wonderful years. Together, we have raised four incredible children and are blessed with two grandchildren. Their unwavering support has been instrumental in my career, and I am profoundly grateful for their encouragement.

Outside of my professional endeavors, I have a passion for backpacking and mountain climbing, having explored various trails across the United States. Additionally, I enjoy playing tennis, running, and maintaining an active lifestyle. Above all, spending time with my family remains my greatest joy.

Jaclyn M. Cornelius, CFP®, EA

Co-Founder, COO, and Financial Advisor

I am committed to providing clients with the assurance that their financial matters are meticulously managed. It brings me immense satisfaction when clients express a sense of relief, knowing that we are diligently overseeing their financial details and continuously striving to deliver exceptional service.

My journey into the financial services industry was inspired by a deeply personal experience. Growing up, I aspired to become an attorney. However, towards the end of my college career, I witnessed my grandmother, who was like a mother to me, struggle to find trustworthy financial advice after my grandfather passed away. Despite meeting several advisors, she felt none were a good fit and expressed a desire to find a woman advisor whom she believed would better understand and earn her trust. This experience sparked my curiosity about the financial services field. Discovering the scarcity of female financial advisors, I felt a profound calling to become a Certified Financial Planner, driven by a desire to help others like my grandmother.

I am proud to hail from the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania, where I was raised by my grandparents. My mother, a single working mom, entrusted my upbringing to them. Having been shaped by the Great Depression, my grandparents frequently emphasized the importance of financial prudence, often sharing stories of hardship, including times when they lacked basic necessities. These experiences instilled in me the belief that while money does not equate to happiness, it does provide options and security. Witnessing the relentless efforts of my grandparents and mother to provide for our family profoundly influenced my values and career path.

My family—my husband and our three children are my daily source of inspiration. Observing the significant decisions and pressures my children face as they navigate their teenage and young adult years motivates me to persevere in my professional endeavors. My husband is my steadfast partner and greatest supporter, and his unwavering encouragement fortifies my commitment to my work.

In my personal life, I cherish traveling, particularly to Europe, and have a passion for cooking nutritious meals. I maintain an active lifestyle through weightlifting and walking, especially in nature. Giving back to others with the talents God has bestowed upon me is a core value, and I find joy in reading historical fiction. I also have a deep appreciation for plants and flowers, and I look forward to gardening once the children leave the nest. For now, I delight in assisting my mother with her garden.
